Definitions & Scriptural Truths

Salvation (Redeemed/Born Again) for Eternal Life

The Bible says, "you MUST be born again." The Bible also says, "Being born again, not of corruptible seed, but of incorruptible, by the word of God, which liveth and abideth forever." 1Peter 1:23. The "incorruptible seed" is the Torah Word of God. The "corruptible seed" is the doctrines of the serpent (devil)... which is any teaching, instruction, proposal, claim or other position or view, that is opposite of what God's Word says. See these links to understand salvation and being "born again."

What does it mean to be "Born Again?"

Salvation and the Jews

What is "Sin" according to the Bible?

According to the New Testament Book of 1John (verse 4);

"Whosoever committeth sin transgresseth also the law: for sin is the transgression of the law." KJV

Now this direct statement is saying (two times) that to break, transgress, oppose, disregard, work against, commit action or violation of any kind against the "law" (Torah, law of Moses... first five books of the Hebrew Bible) is sin. Sin has one and only one end result; and that is separation from God (YHVH)... and without one's change of their ways by repenting and asking forgiveness and having Yeshua's (Jesus') blood cleanse their sin, sin will end in that one being cast into "the lake of fire," in the final judgment (Rev 20:15 and 21:8).

The ONLY remedy (correction or cure) for sin is confession of your sin, asking forgiveness, with true and genuine repentance and turning away from (forever forsaking) the sin at issue, asking Yeshua to become "master" of your life, and taking up one's place as an "obedient" child of YHVH. Thankfully, 1John 1:9 assures the repentant sinner:

"If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness." KJV

Now what are some of the "sins" identified in the Bible?

First, any rebellion or disobedience to the "Written Word of God (YHVH)" is sin... therefore, one must study the Bible (from the beginning) to know what is and what is not sin... there is no excuse for a person NOT to know what sin is, as Paul says in Romans 1:18-20. Paul continues in Romans 1:21-32 to explain the sin problem.

Breaking of the Ten Commandments and their expanded meaning (principals of living) is also sin.

Here are some of the "itemized sins" of the Bible:

Professing themselves to be wise (smarter than the Word of God/Torah), looking to corruptible things (mankind, birds, four-footed beast, creeping things, etc as "worshiped" things, in place of a holy incorruptible GOD/YHVH);

Lust in their own hearts, dishonoring their own bodies between themselves (changing YHVH's truth into a lie, worshiping and serving the creature more than the Creator/YHVH), which has manifesting results in secular humanism... and "green earth" (mother earth) worship (this is not the same as good stewardship of our planet, for which God clearly expects us to respect and keep as best we know how).

For these things, YHVH "gave them up" to vile affections (perverted sexual practices, i.e., homosexuality, bestiality, and all "unnatural" forms of human relationships, resulting in perversion).

Because they did not like to retain YHVH/GOD in their "knowledge," YHVH gave them up to a "reprobate mind," to do those things not convenient (fitting). Such as, being filled with all unrighteousness (opposite to Torah definition of holy and righteous), fornication, wickedness, covetousness, maliciousness; full of envy, murder, debate, deceit, malignity (bad character- mischievousness), whisperers, backbiters, haters of YHVH/GOD, despiteful, proud, boasters, inventors of evil things, disobedient to parents, without understanding, covenant breakers, without natural affection, implacable (unmovable, unappeasable, unrelenting, adamant), unmerciful.

What does Paul the Apostle tell the Ephesians about those who will NOT enter the Kingdom of Christ and of God?

Eph 5:3-5
3 "But fornication, and all uncleanness, or covetousness, let it not be once named among you, as becometh saints; 4 Neither filthiness, nor foolish talking, nor jesting, which are not convenient: but rather giving of thanks. 5 For this ye know, that no whoremonger, nor unclean person, nor covetous man, who is an idolater, hath any inheritance in the kingdom of Christ and of God."KJV

What does Paul warn the Galatians about sin?

Gal 5:19-21
19 Now the works of the flesh are manifest, which are these; Adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lasciviousness, 20 Idolatry, witchcraft, hatred, variance, emulations, wrath, strife, seditions, heresies, 21 Envyings, murders, drunkenness, revellings, and such like: of the which I tell you before, as I have also told you in time past, that they which do such things shall not inherit the kingdom of God. KJV

Now, for some of the "lesser" known sins... sins just the same:

Breaking the "Sabbath," the 4th of the ten commandments... common practice of exchanging the eternal 7th day (Saturday on modern Calendars) for "Sun" day... a Roman pagan day of worship... likewise, celebrating pagan holidays, such as Easter and Christmas and "Christianizing" them with our own description of why we justify them... Especially, substituting of them, for example: Passover is commanded, and Easter is the normal practice.

Turning away our "ear- hearing" from the instruction of the Torah (Prov 28:9)... resulting with one's prayers becoming an "abomination" to YHVH/GOD... serious, I think.

To falsify, in any way, the person (identity or personhood) of Yeshua (the real Jesus of the Bible)... who was/is the "Word that became flesh," (John 1:1-14, the walking, living Word of God/Torah). To propose Him in any way that defiles his purity incarnation of the Torah in the flesh, which Torah He kept and taught (Mat 5:17-19).

To reject the Savior/Yeshua, for redemption... or His Blood's efficaciousness for your sins; as to blaspheme the Holy Spirit of Grace... as to trample His Blood underfoot (Heb 10:26-29).

Careless rebuke of YHVH'S love, and not loving Him or others... and disregarding the command to be "holy;" without holiness, no man shall see YHVH/GOD (Heb 12:14).

To mistake "love" for emotion and feelings, and not practice it (YHVH'S definition of love John 14:15 and 14:23) as obedience to Torah (proper love for YHVH, Deut 6:5, 11:1, 11:13, 11:22, 13:3, 19:9, 30:6, 30:16, 30:20, Jos 22:5) and Torah's teaching how to love others (Mat 22:37-40). Be sure to understand "loving" is "doing," and doing it YHVH'S way. To do it our "own way," is sin.

Failing to look after the needs of others... widows, orphans, the helpless; gossip and slander; tolerance for evil, such as abortion and lewdness openly practiced in our society... tattoos on one's body (Leviticus 19:28- a Torah fact). Acceptance of false teachings (which YHVH says He will send as a "test" to see if we will follow false prophets; Deut 13:3).

Syncretism (mixing Torah/YHVH's commandments with other man-made or institutional religious practices)... very common in modern religious practice. Inclusion of all types of New Age "mysticism" (namely Eastern-Hindu religious practices) in with "church" activities... very common in our day... the "Purpose Driven" and "Post Modern, Emerging Church" paradigms... all falling under YHVH'S warning in Isaiah 8:20 (any teaching against the Torah/law of Moses)... all these are the move towards the "one world religion," of the last days... preaching peace and unity... at all cost, and mingling all faiths; which is an "abomination" to YHVH... the "Babylon of the end times."

The Bible has one main instruction concerning these "mixed" abominations:

"Come out." (2Cor 6:14-18 and Rev 18:4)...

To choose to stay in what the Bible calls sin, is to assign one's destiny to the certain consequence for the "wages of sin," which is "death" (Rom 6:23)... think about it.

Commonwealth of Israel:

The "Commonwealth of Israel" (includes Ephraim, Judah, and the WhoSoEver Will) is a unique body of people (literally the "People of God") that are defined by God's Scriptures and they will be revealed as the "Redeemed of the Messiah" following the tumultuous events of the Last Days... which may be closer that most people think. Let us look at the "Israel of God" as the "faithful believers" who have all been "grafted onto" the Olive Tree the Apostle Paul describes in Romans 11:17-24. These include "natural branches" (Judah/Jews and returning House of Israel people) and "wild branches" (saved people of the nations). Yeshua is the "root and stem" or the vine/trunk of the tree and anyone coming into the Commonwealth of Israel can only be identified as part of the Israel of God by being grafted onto this tree. There is no separate tree for the "Jews" and another for the "Church." No, all are ONE in Yeshua our Messiah. The doctrines of "replacement theology," and "dispensational law and grace; I.E., Old Testament vs New Testament times, are not true Bible teachings... sadly, they are the fabrications of institutional religion and doctrines of men. Misinformation is the roots of confusion and is the what is battled against in "spiritual warfare." Here is a "profile" that generally describes the Commonwealth of the faithful, and this is one of the most misunderstood issues in the Bible:

“From the beginning YHVH (Yahweh God of Israel) has only had ONE people with whom He made a covenant, and with whom He refers to making a new (renewed) covenant with; those people were (and are) called “Israel.” They are identified (yesterday, today and forever) as those who embrace Torah (keep His Commandments as Yeshua taught), love YHVH (and in the “renewed covenant” receive His Son Yeshua the Messiah and His blood sacrifice for salvation), and are joined by faith to the Commonwealth of ONE PEOPLE… Israel. This is not a “church,” “nation,” “bloodline,” or “political” people… IT IS A FAITH PEOPLE as was Abraham counted righteous because he "believed" God (Gal 3: 6-9). There will be some “nation” Jews included, some “bloodline” Jews and Israelites included, and there will be some “gentiles” included, known as “companions” according to the Scriptures (Ezk 37:15-28). Most of the “Israelites,” or the scattered seed of the Northern Kingdom (Israel, 10 tribes), and “their companions,” are today, for the most part, scattered in among the Christian Churches worldwide (they are people, not “churches”)… and are being called out and back to their Hebraic faith roots... Torah is the substance of this truth.”

God makes Salvation (on His terms) available to "WhoSoEver" will come with a surrendered mind and heart, honest and genuine repentant conviction, and willingness to walk faithfully in agreement with His Word. Such a person is what the the Bible calls a "new creation."

It should be noted that the two houses of Israel are often referred to as "Judah" and "Ephraim." The "House of Israel," often means "Ephraim," and when including "Judah," the Bible normally says "Whole House of Israel," or "House of Jacob." "Judah" (Southern kingdom, is the Tribe of Judah, and includes the Tribe of Benjamin and some Levites); principally, is the environs in and about Jerusalem and Judea. To be accurate, "Jews" are the Southern Kingdom people; we often see "Jews" defining all the people of the past and present Israelite composite. This lack of distinction will confuse the meaning of Prophetic and historic facts. "Ephraim," or "House of Israel," is the 10 Northern Tribes (who are NOT "Jews"), which are often referred to as the "lost 10 Tribes." More will be covered on this subject in the links below.

What is the "Torah?"

The Torah (translated "law" in most English Bibles) is normally referred to in our discussions as the first five books of the Bible (Genesis, Exodus, Leviticus, Numbers, and Deuteronomy). It means to "hit the mark" or to attain the goal; it also means "instruction," or to teach.

The "legalist" attitude towards the instructions of our God (Elohim/YHVH/Yahweh) is an improper emphasis; remember it is Yeshua who was crucified for us (for our sins, fully willing, while knowing we were sinners, and it was an act of love and His Grace). John 1:1-14 tells us that He (Yeshua/Jesus) was the Word of God that became flesh and walked among us as "son of man." He, Yeshua (and this is very important) is God/YHVH. He is the Godhead; fully God and fully man. It is very important to understand that the "Word" of God in the flesh is the same Torah Word that was written on the stone Tablets that He gave Moses at Mt. Sinai.

The entire Old Testament is the foundational dictionary for context and establishment of "principals" of God's thinking and nature... given to us for our perfecting of our lifestyles. Yeshua is the "living example" of how we are to walk out the Torah in our lives. The Torah and the New Testament are NOT in conflict. The problem exist when people try to read "church doctrine" into the Bible instead of allowing the Bible to reveal the context from the beginning (if one reads the Torah first and learns its principals and teachings, the following chapters of the Old and New Testaments will not seem to have conflicting messages). Yeshua said, "man must live by "every word" that proceeds from the mouth of God. (Mat 4:4). When He said this, the New Testament was not even in existence.

It is the misunderstanding that many have that the Torah was "for the Jews," which is true, but it was God Himself who said there were not to be any separation of classes of persons as regarding the People equally keeping the Torah in their lifestyles. (Ex 12:49; Num 15:15-16).There was to be one Torah for all native born and the stranger that had enjoined themselves to their community. It was Yeshua who said:

Matt 5:17-19
17 Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or the prophets: I am not come to destroy, but to fulfil. 18 For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled. 19 Whosoever therefore shall break one of these least commandments, and shall teach men so, he shall be called the least in the kingdom of heaven: but whosoever shall do and teach them, the same shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven. KJV

Yeshua alone has the authority to define the validity of His Word. When we understand that there will be rewards for obedience and losses for disobedience, we will better appreciate the seriousness of accepting our place among the faithful.

The Torah is a "closed system;" as it says in two places in Deuteronomy that we are to neither add to or take from the Torah as it is written... (Deut 4:2 and Deut 12:32)

The observance of the Torah prescribed lifestyle is a safety net for us for our own good. The Torah instructions are not burdensome, as they are the detailed concepts of how God wants us to think, act, and view the world around us. When we truly love God and what Yeshua has done for us through his death and suffering that we may be redeemed, it is a response of thankfulness and love on our part to follow His instructions and become the "holy" people he wants to lift up His Great Name and witness His Glory to the nations. That is what God originally intended for Israel to be and what Israel will become in the end of days. Our salvation comes only by "grace through faith in Yeshua." However, as the Torah is our "school master," leading us to the real Messiah, it is also the avenue by which God's blessings come (by faithful obedience to the Torah); likewise, our disdain and disobedience to the Torah is the avenue through which comes curses (Deut chapters 28 & 29). The Torah can not save us by our keeping it, as only faith in Yeshua can save us; however, God intends for believers to follow the principals of the Torah as a lifestyle forever... God made it a "choice" issue:

Deut 30:19
19 I call heaven and earth to record this day against you, that I have set before you life and death, blessing and cursing: therefore choose life, that both thou and thy seed may live: KJV

Again, the Torah, for believers, is forever; it says in Proverbs 28:9 that when a man turns his ear away from hearing (with agreeable response) the Torah, that his prayer will be an abomination. That is a serious issue. It also says in Isaiah:

Isa 8:20
To the law (Torah) and to the testimony: if they speak not according to this word, it is because there is no light in them. KJV

The Book of Revelation is specific about the seriousness of the commandments of God (The Torah and the Commandments are one and the same):

Rev 12:17
And the dragon was wroth with the woman, and went to make war with the remnant of her seed, which keep the commandments of God, and have the testimony of Jesus Christ. KJV

In the beginning, in the Garden of Eden, the devil was there to try to separate man from the Word (Commandments of God/Torah principles)... he has always been doing the same thing, and in the end he will wage violent war against the people of faith with the same intentions. Yes, the Torah Word is for all believers to learn and hold fast to... it will be our lifeline of defense against the wrath of the devil and the anti-christ and his deceptions that will cause much affliction on God's people in the last days. The Torah is also the only document that defines both the identity of the real Messiah and the Bride of Messiah. Yeshua (the real Yeshua/Jesus) warned about impostors and unless one studies both the Torah and the lifestyle of Yeshua in the Gospels (Mat, Mrk, Luk, and John), they can be deceived by impostors proposing teachings and performing even miracles, tempting people to follow them; and this "instead of" Messiah/Jesus is what the scriptures call "another Jesus." Further, only the person who embraces the "Bride description" in the Torah can live the like-minded lifestyle that identifies them as the real Bride of Messiah. These are some of the main reasons God said the New Covenant would be written in our hearts and in our minds. Having the Torah truth in our minds and hearts, and the real lifestyle of the genuine Yeshua in our hearts, will keep us from being deceived by a "lying spirit" or a false prophet that is trying to deceive us. God clearly says He will test our faithfulness in this matter (Deut 13:1-5). The Word of God never changes... it is forever settled in Heaven (Ps 119:89). It is what the prophet Malachi closed the last book in the Old Testament with:

Mal 4:1-6
For, behold, the day cometh, that shall burn as an oven; and all the proud, yea, and all that do wickedly, shall be stubble: and the day that cometh shall burn them up, saith the LORD of hosts, that it shall leave them neither root nor branch. 2 But unto you that fear my name shall the Sun of righteousness arise with healing in his wings; and ye shall go forth, and grow up as calves of the stall. 3 And ye shall tread down the wicked; for they shall be ashes under the soles of your feet in the day that I shall do this, saith the LORD of hosts. 4 Remember ye the law of Moses my servant, which I commanded unto him in Horeb for all Israel, with the statutes and judgments. 5 Behold, I will send you Elijah the prophet before the coming of the great and dreadful day of the LORD: 6 And he shall turn the heart of the fathers to the children, and the heart of the children to their fathers, lest I come and smite the earth with a curse. KJV

The "Law of Moses" in verse 4 above, is the Torah. Yeshua walked the Torah in His earthly walk, as did his Disciples and the early Church believers. Let us love our Messiah Yeshua enough that we want to be like Him, walk as He and the first Century Disciples walked and be diligent and faithful to "keep" his commandments for our own good... and for the privilege noted in Rev 22:14:

14 Blessed are they that do his commandments, that they may have right to the tree of life, and may enter in through the gates into the city. KJV

The Torah is said to be the "Tree of Life." May it nourish your life and guide your ways... The Holy Spirit is faithful and always leads us the Torah way; any spirit we think we hear telling us otherwise is a lying spirit; and any "prophet" or teacher or preacher disputing the Torah is also a person we must avoid listening to... we must use the Torah to confirm all teaching to see if they are speaking the truth or men's doctrines. For a more thorough review of the Torah as a Biblical truth for Believers of all times, the following links will enrich your understanding of this very important issue.

How do I "Keep the Torah" or "Observe the Torah?"

Thank you... we are glad you asked...

"Keeping" the Torah is not exactly the same as "Obeying" the letter of the Torah. We must strive for "obedience" to our Heavenly Father's Will ("will" as meaning the Torah instructions as it was given to us in writting at Mt. Sinai, where He published His "will," for us), and that should always be our mind's serious pursuit; it is the "target," at which we aim; it becomes our "focus." This is because our understanding of obedience should be one of mature acceptance of our responsibility of the "priesthood," (we are said to be a kingdom of priest when we are born again and persue the role of a true disciple... learning how to be like our teacher Yeshua, our High Priest).

Keeping the Torah is an act of responseive love on our part; as the new creation man, we have already passed through the "confession" or our sins and "repentance," and Yeshua has purged our sins (to be forever forsaken by us, and with the help of the Holy Spirit, we are not to return to them); and now, our choosing the action of "guarding" our hearts, thoughts and deeds, so that we honestly try to "keep" the intent (or the Spirit) of the Torah (The Father's Will), is our observace of the Torah. This is done as best we presently understand it and begin to actually walk it out in our lifestyle. It is the way we return our gratitude and is the motive action of what is in our hearts. We are "keeping" our part of the relationship in balance as best we can (with Yeshua making up the difference of our limitations with the overwhelmingly abundant grace that He pours out upon and into our lives in His role as our Redeemer Savior). As we study the Torah and the person of the Messiah Yeshua, and how He walked out the Torah, we "keep" the Torah more fully as we learn it and His ways. Now, mind you, some parts of the Torah are not for everyone; men do not keep the Torah parts that refer to Women and visa/versa, or things that can only be done in the Land of Israel with a standing Temple and Priesthood. In other words, we learn to keep the Torah as a progressive experience. It is like "faithfulness" of a faithful spouse; while every effort is made to be as perfect a spouse as possible, people make mistakes. When mistakes are made, we take our honest heart and faithful mind set and make amends and ask forgiveness and seek reconciliation for any errors in our duties and commitments as best we can. We then move on doing our best to live as Yeshua exampled for us as He walked and taught in His day.

The fall feasts of YHVH (Lev chpt 23) includes Yom Kippur (day of atonement); it is the culmination of days of self-examination, and an annual event, on which Torah observant believers do deep soul and heart searching to seriously examine their own lives and motives to "get right," with YHVH and our fellow man (a good observance that YHVH knew we needed each year to measure ourselves against His eternal truths). One thing is obvious to those who commit themselves to a Torah lifestyle, and that is that you only learn to understand what you walk out; it is like swimming... if you do not get into the water, you will never know about swimming.

Yeshua summed up the way to "Keep the Torah" when He discussed the "first Commandment of all," with the scribe that inquired of Him what it was:

Mark 12:28-34
28 And one of the scribes came, and having heard them reasoning together, and perceiving that he had answered them well, asked him, Which is the first commandment of all?

29 And Jesus answered him, The first of all the commandments is, Hear, O Israel; The Lord our God is one Lord:

30 And thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind, and with all thy strength: this is the first commandment.

31 And the second is like, namely this, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself. There is none other commandment greater than these.

32 And the scribe said unto him, Well, Master, thou hast said the truth: for there is one God; and there is none other but he:

33 And to love him with all the heart, and with all the understanding, and with all the soul, and with all the strength, and to love his neighbour as himself, is more than all whole burnt offerings and sacrifices.

34 And when Jesus saw that he answered discreetly, he said unto him, Thou art not far from the kingdom of God. And no man after that durst ask him any question. KJV

We should go and do likewise. It is not known to many, who rebuke the relevance of the Torah to our lives today, that Yeshua (above) is quoting the Torah (vs 29 and 30 above are from Deut 6:4; verse 31 above is from Lev 19:18)... as he did in all his answers. He was the Torah in the flesh (John 1: 1-14).

We suggest this article for more on "keeping the Torah." The Restoration of Torah

What is the Sabbath?

Why so much fuss and contention over "which" day mankind should "keep" sacred in honor and reverence to a Holy God... Who clearly and specifically defines it as the "seventh" (7th) day? Are we not able to count to seven? Are we so steeped in our own opinions that we seriously consider "our" views superior to YHVH's (if not in agreement with God's). Do we not realize that YHVH, the supreme authority and King of the Universe... who created everything in the Heavens, in the Earth and Under the Earth, He alone gets to make the "rules" and we only get to make the choices to "obey," and be in His Favor; or "disobey," and be out of His Favor... I.E. the issue of His response to the offerings of Able and Cain... with Able's offering being accepted and Cain's offering be rejected; and YHVH admonished Cain:

Gen 4:6-7
6 And the LORD said unto Cain, Why art thou wroth? and why is thy countenance fallen? 7 If thou doest well, shalt thou not be accepted? and if thou doest not well, sin lieth at the door..."KJV

The "sin" that lies at our door is always the result of our "transgression" of the Torah (Law)

1 John 3:4
4 Whosoever committeth sin transgresseth also the law: for sin is the transgression of the law. KJV

The 4th Commandment is to Keep the Sabbath... so, we who do not "keep" the Biblical 7th day Sabbath very simply are "transgressors of the Law (Torah)." The only avenue out is to repent and correct our transgression.

It is of great interest to me that the Roman Catholic Church (who unashamedly admit they changed the Sabbath day from Saturday, the 7th day commanded, to the 1st day of Sunday) say that if you are not a Catholic and keep the Roman Church appointed Sunday "Sabbath," that you are in violation of the scriptures if you do not keep the 7th day the Bible commands... if you think about this for a few minutes, you will no doubt ask yourself, "who gave them authority to override the Torah of YHVH?" And, how do they consider a Sunday Sabbath Protestant in Scriptural violation for acting just like they do, as they promote the distortion of the "forever settled Word of YHVH," (Ps 119:89). Of course, this is only one thing, among many, that the Roman Church did/does that polluted the Holy authority of the Torah.

The more stunning issue (if it were not so tragic and disgraceful as an action and orthodox practice on the institutional church) is that Protestant defenders of the Sunday Sabbath have absolutely no Biblical Scriptures (that are not allegorized) that support their position on a Sunday 1st day Sabbath. The Torah says two times in Deuteronomy to not add anything to the Torah/Law and not to take anything from it...(Deut 4:2, 12:32). Yeshua (Jesus) in Mat 5:17-20, explicitly warns of the consequences of tinkering with His (YHVH's) commandments... ARE WE LISTENING! Do we think we will draw a "pass" for these rebellious attitudes at our "face to face" meeting with Him on the day of Judgment? Are we willing to surrender our destiny to faulty and erroneous doctrines of "popular" preachers and so called "learned" instructors of Seminaries, just to stay in good standing with men? Was it not the "learned" and "instructors" of the Religious Institutions of Yeshua's day that rejected His very own person... is this line of reasoning not what we are watching in our day?

Jer 16:19
19 O LORD, my strength, and my fortress, and my refuge in the day of affliction, the Gentiles shall come unto thee from the ends of the earth, and shall say, Surely our fathers have inherited lies, vanity, and things wherein there is no profit. KJV

The "bold" emphasis is mine... Yes, we have surely inherited lies, vanity and things wherein there is no profit... it is the work of men and the pride of men and their egos and their need to control others under their authority and influence that enslaves people to "laws" of men (the very legalism they propose the Torah compliant persons as following, is the hook that the devil uses to bind them to men's legalism itself; a Sunday Sabbath is a doctrine of men and legalism at the core)... we must return to the freedom of the Torah for Holy "instruction" in our walk of faith. Somehow, to me, it is the Sabbath that is the "linchpin" of understanding that YHVH has used to test us as a faithful people, as he declares that His Sabbaths (not the Jews Sabbath), is a sign between Him and His people throughout their generations:

Ex 31:13
13 Speak thou also unto the children of Israel, saying, Verily my sabbaths ye shall keep: for it is a sign between me and you throughout your generations; that ye may know that I am the LORD that doth sanctify you. KJV

Ezek 20:12
12 Moreover also I gave them my sabbaths, to be a sign between me and them, that they might know that I am the LORD that sanctify them. KJV

YHVH never changes:

Mal 3:6
6 For I am the LORD, I change not; therefore ye sons of Jacob are not consumed.

Heb 13:8
8 Jesus Christ the same yesterday, and to day, and for ever. KJV

For even more confirmation on the authority of the Word and the Eternal Sabbath, the links below will enrich your understanding and empower your faith to "come out" from the wilderness of "mixed doctrines" of religion and experience the fellowship of a true and faithful Heavenly Father that loves you and desires your faithfulness to Him... Obedience is above sacrifice (1Sam 15:22).
