Testimonies and Experiences of Others
How did we get to where we are in "Our Walk of Faith?"
We all have different experiences that precede our place in life today... some of us have lived very "religious" lives (from childhood) and others have only found a personal Salvation in Yeshua our Messiah (Jesus Christ) as they matured in their adult lives. We chose to use the term "religious" above because many of us find that, in our previous church/synagogue experiences, we have only had "religious" experiences; of which some parts were good and some were simply institutional or men's workings and not really a true Biblical truth... not necessarily what we would now call a truly born again personal Salvation relationship with our Messiah Yeshua.
A small percentage of us were fortunate enough to have God fearing parents who loved God and taught us the best they could and as the best they understood the Bible. Most people seldom consider what it is they "believe in," or what it means to really be "sold out" to the Word's instruction as YHVH (God/Yahweh) has defined it. Most important though, the faithful Heavenly Father YHVH, in His love for us, always brings us to the place of reckoning when we are truly looking for the truth and are willing to hear His Holy Spirit's leading as we study the Bible with a pure and honest heart.
Because of these realities of living... our testimonies of how we came to be seekers of the "walk of the disciples of the Messiah's day," we often find that our personal testimonies sometimes sound familiar to others... it is no coincidence to find that the same Holy Spirit is showing total strangers the "same" truths and understandings that the Scriptures teach. Many believers attend conferences and meetings to meet people just like themselves... with very similar testimonies. It is also likewise that many articles and parts of books and audio/video messages reveal the same working of the Holy Spirit... we believe this "last days" revealing of YHVH's instructions to His "remnant" faithful is the meaning and cause of all such happenings. Frank Guasto... Remember ! The faith of the apostles and saints was built on the ancient Holy Scriptures referred to in Acts 17:11 and 1Tim 3:15-16. There are many other verses in the Brit Chadashah (New Testament) to support this same fact! YHWH’S word has never changed and will never change. He says so over and over again. For quite a long time while being taught in the Christian church I have experienced many areas of difficulty, when trying get one part of scripture to agree with another.
