THE GOSPEL
By: Frank Guasto
What exactly is the gospel ?
In Acts 1:6 it says that when the apostles were come together they asked this question saying. Adonai (Master), Will thou at this time restore again the kingdom to Yisrael ?
When we think of the gospel, we generally limit our thinking to receiving the gift that comes by grace through faith, which of course is salvation and receiving the manifestations of the Ruach Ha Kodesh (Holy Spirit) that come in power to the believer to be His testimony (witnesses) to a lost and dying world. This is true, but in order for us to get proper biblical perspective on how this came to be we have to go back in biblical history to get insight into Elohim’s (God‘s) plan of bringing man back to His original plan through the restoration of His chosen people, YISRAEL.
We have to start somewhere, so let’s start where most of us have been taught to start which gives us a limited view of what the Gospel is.
Romans 10:9-13
9 That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Master Yeshua, (Lord Jesus) and shalt believe in thine heart that Elohim (God) hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved
10 For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.
11 For the scripture saith, Whosoever believeth on him shall not be ashamed.
12 For there is no difference between the Jew and the Greek: for the same Master over all is rich unto all that call upon him.
13 For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Master shall be saved.
Question ? This is all about good news ,but what kind of good news. What are we talking about here ?
After Shaul (Paul) recites this short explanation of the external verbal elements as well as the internal heart elements of justification by faith, Shaul in Ro 10;14-15 takes this concept and begins asking a number of questions of the how the process of the good news is facilitated, then he goes to the proof text, the Tenach (Old Testament)
Romans 10
Vs 14 How shall they call on Him in whom they have not believed ?
Vs 14 How shall they believe in Him of whom they have not heard ?
Vs 14 How shall they hear without a preacher ?
Vs 15 How shall they preach except they be sent (apostle= one who is sent) ? How beautiful are the feet of them who bring good news. In Yeshayahu 52:7 (Isaiah) It is written How beautiful upon the mountains are the feet of him that bringeth good tidings, that publisheth peace; that bringeth good tidings of good, that publisheth salvation; that saith unto Zion, Thy Elohim reigneth!
Vs 16 They have not all obeyed the gospel. For Yeshayahu said YHWH (LORD) who has believed our report ?
17 So then faith comes by- hearing= (Shema=Obeying) and hearing by the word of Elohim.
Vs 18 But I say have they not heard ? Shaul answers and says YES ! Absolutely. Who is Shaul talking about ?
Vs 19 But I say, Did not Yisrael know? First Moshe (Moses) saith, I will provoke you to jealousy by [them that are] no people, [and] by a foolish nation I will anger you. He is referring to the scattered tribes of Yisrael. This is reinforced by D’varim 32:21 (Deuteronomy)
Vs 20 But Yeshayahu (Isaiah) (is very bold, and saith, I was found of them that sought me not; I was made manifest unto them that asked not after me. (Reference--Yeshayahu 65:1 and Romans 9:30)
Vs 21 But to Yisrael he saith, All day long I have stretched forth my hands unto a disobedient and gainsaying people. (Reference--Yeshayahu 65:2)
The answer to the question is going to be built on the freedom from the Galah, (Galut) which is freedom from exile and slavery …This will define the concept of the gospel (good news), but we really have to go into this deep, and study it. There is much more to this than meets the eye.
Since the fall of Adam, Elohim (God) had promised to restore man to the dominion and stature that he once held. Adam had been created in the image of Elohim. His environment was perfect; and if sin had not caused his fall, he would still be alive today. Man, driven from the garden following the fall, became only a diminutive of what he had been. The earth had also changed, for Elohim had placed a curse upon it B’reshith 3:17(Gen ) Man’s future was bleak with the exception of a hope seen in the prophesies of a Coming One who would conquer sin, defeat death, and bring about both the restoration of both man and earth (Ro 8:18-25). Prophets, kings, and priests had all spoken of this deliverer and event. This became the “Basar” (good news) . It was well defined in the Hebrew mind long before Yeshua (Jesus) walked upon the earth. As Adam had been a king of the earth under the rule of Elohim, so the redeemer to come would also be a king. The Malkut Shamayim (Kingdom of Heaven) , would come to earth in this King. The kingdom was to be a time of physical as well as spiritual resurrection: therefore, healing, miracles, and divine manifestations of the power of Elohim were expected. Yeshua’s work in His first coming fulfilled only part of the promised restoration. The balance of the restoration will be completed in His second coming Hitgalut 22:12-14(Rev)
From the time of the families of Avraham (Abraham), Yitzchak (Isaac), Yaakov (Jacob) and Yoseph (Joseph) and before, we see evidence that the commandments, statutes and laws of Elohim God) was known and kept by them.
B’reshith 6:9 & 22, 26:5 (Genesis). Before the Children of Yisrael (Israel) left Mitzrayim (Egypt) “BY FAITH” they applied the blood of a lamb (Representing the future sacrifice of Yeshua) to their doorposts and lintel and by “GRACE” they were delivered out of bondage and were brought unto YHWH ( LORD). When the Children of Yisrael left Mitzrayim they departed as a mixed multitude Sh’mot 12:37-38 (Exodus). At Sinai, the Torah (Teaching, Instruction, Law) was given to them as a nation. This was a marriage contract that was being entered into. All the people who believed on Him and agreed to obey His commandments, (Sh’mot19:5 & 8) and entered into this marriage contract with Elohim became His bride. This bride is known as Yisrael, is also referred to as.. Believers in Yeshua, body of Messiah. Don’t forget this, it is crucial to understand that those who are Yisrael refers to the redeemed ones of Yeshua which means Salvation. Romans 9:6b says, “For they are not all Yisrael, which are of Yisrael If you are truly saved, you are truly Yisrael !
Now that we have that part done let’s go on and find out what happened to this people and future generations of the children of Yisrael. Obviously we know that the children were disobedient and were made to wander in the wilderness until that generation expired. Further examination of the scriptures tell us of King David and his exploits, as well as his failures. King Shlomo (Solomon) was twice warned not to chase after other gods. Shlomo disobeyed YHWH and the kingdom was taken from him M’lakhim Alef 11:9-11 ( 1Kings). This is where it gets very interesting, but can be tricky to understand, “SO WATCH”. Rehavoam (Rehoboam) came to rule over the Southern Kingdom which was comprised of the tribe of Yehudah (Judah), Benjamin and some of the Levites ( M’lakhim Alef 12:1). Yehravoam (Jeroboam) is chosen to rule ten tribes ( M’lakhim Alef 11:28) which will in scripture be referred to as the Northern Kingdom, or the house of Yisrael, or Ephraim and sometimes Yaakov and sometimes Yoseph. Ephraim is the tribe that Yehravoam is from, and was the leader of the Northern Kingdom and that is why the Northern Kingdom is many times referred to as Ephraim. As an aside Ephraim is one of Yoseph’s son.
Note: Ephraim means to be doubly fruitful or fullnes of the nations. (B’reshith 48:19) This is a very important concept that becomes reality. Remember Ephraim is sort of a code word for the house of Yisrael which is to become a multitude of nations.
M’lakhim Alef 12:21-33(1 Kings)
After the split, the two kingdoms were totally at odds with one another in trying to gain power and political advantage, and having bitter disputes, and almost entering into a civil war, Yehravoam feared that his subjects would leave him and go up to Yahrushalayim (Jerusalem) to do sacrifices to YHWH and that the people would stay and join Rehavoam. The fear of this possibly happening would lead Yehravoam to apostasy. He decided to make two golden calves saying to his people “it is too much for you to go up to Yahrushalayim: and said, “behold thy gods, O Yisrael, which brought ye up out of the land of Mitzrayim” And he set the one in Bethel, and the other he put in Dan. In doing this he led all ten tribes into assimilation and idolatry. Therefore all the sins of the ten tribes fell on Yehravoam the Ephraimite. The ten tribes are called by the one who led them into idolatry and therefore the ten tribes are referred to as Ephraim. He made a house of high places and he appointed priests coming from the lowest of the people, which were not sons of Levi, and from his own heart he devised a day of his own choosing for a feast day that was not ordained by YHWH.
In the passing of time the Northern Kingdom (house of Yisrael) during the ninth year of the reign of King Hoshea, it was that the king of Assyria took Samaria, and carried Yisrael away to Assyria M’lakhim Bet 17:6 ( 2Kings) . The Southern Kingdom (house of Yehudah ) was besieged by Nebuchadnezzar in the eleventh year of King Zedekiah. and carried away to Babylon leaving a remnant of the people in the land of Yehudah with Gedaliah being made ruler over them (M’lakhim Bet 25:1:22). These two kingdoms, called the house of Yisrael and the house of Yehudah had two distinct prophecies told of them according to Hoshea chapters 1-3(Hosea). The kingdom of the house of Yisrael would dissolve and be scattered throughout the nations (Gentiles). They would no longer be the people of YHWH and YHWH would no longer have mercy on them. Hoshea also says that the kingdom of Yehudah would also disobey, but the nation would remain intact, and YHWH would have mercy on them. But YHWH, by virtue of His omniscience, knew that one day these two houses would be reunited and would once again be His people, with one shepherd, one head, and would be renewed again as ONE man, Yisrael, His firstborn. This is prophesied in Yehchezkel 37:15-28 (Ezekiel).
In Yirmeyahu 3:8 (Jeremiah) YHWH speaks to the house of Yisrael and of a certificate of divorce because what is explained in M’lakhim Bet 17:6-23 (2 Kings). This broke the marriage contract that was established at Sinai. The house of Yisrael’s sister, treacherous Judah played the harlot and she was caught in adultery (this refers to spiritual adultery, taking on pagan worship and practices ) but she was not divorced.
POINT 1
In this study we are going to look at whole house of Yisrael (ALL 12 TRIBES) being portrayed as a married woman. Yisrael was sometimes understood to be a married woman, sometimes a community of men, sometimes children. YHWH is a husband and the redeemed commandment keepers are the bride. These are multidimensional concepts. YHWH is multi dimensional so we have multidimensional ideas here. Do not get too restricted in your thinking as we are trying to present this study from a Hebraic mind perspective giving insight into the heavenly mindset as it pertains to the view of YHWH, relating spiritual principles into terms in which we can identify. The following is a bride depicted as a woman
Yechezk’el 16 (Ezekial)
6 And when I passed by you and saw you struggling in your own blood (circumcision), I said to you in your blood, 'Live!' Yes, I said to you in your blood, (Blood of the Lamb) 'Live! ) This is a depiction of young Yisrael being saved from the ruin that was upon them in Mitzrayim ( Egypt). They became loathed, abandoned and appointed to die as sheep for the slaughter, but YHWH converted them by grace out of their pollution, and were saved by the blood of the Passover Lamb.)
7 I have made you thrive like a plant in the field; and you grew, matured, and became very beautiful. Your breasts were formed, your hair grew, but you were naked and bare.
8 When I passed by you again and looked upon you, indeed your time was the time of love; so I spread My wings over you and covered your nakedness. Yes, I swore an oath to you and entered into a covenant with you, (betrothal contract) and you became Mine," says YHWH your Elohim..
But as you know they were disobedient and were severely disciplined for it as outlined in Point 2
POINT 2.
The following is at the basis of the concept of the Gospel.
*** YAHWEH HATES DIVORCE ***
Mal’akhi 2:16 (MalachI)
It took YHWH a number of centuries to do the following., He did not want to do it, but He had to do it …
Lets look at
Yesha’yahu 50:1 (Isaiah)
Thus saith YHWH, Where [is] the bill (Cepher) of your mother's divorcement, (kariythuwth) whom I have put away? or which of my creditors [is it] to whom I have sold you? Behold, for your iniquities have ye sold yourselves, and for your transgressions (PESHA---willful, malicious, rebellious sin) is your mother put away. YHWH is not asking “where is it” like He does not know. The way He is asking, and is structured in Hebrew is . He is saying, bring it out I want to put it before your face and remind you of the sins that have been committed, and the reason for the divorce.
Yirmeyahu 3 (Jeremiah)
6 YHWH said also unto me in the days of Yoshiyahu ( Josiah) the king, Hast thou seen [that] which backsliding Yisrael hath done? she is gone up upon every high mountain and under every green tree, and there hath played the harlot. This is a reference to spiritual adultery, bowing down to other gods)
7 And I said after she had done all these [things], Turn thou unto me. But she returned not. And her treacherous sister Yehudah saw [it].
8 And I saw, when for all the causes whereby backsliding Yisrael committed adultery I had put her away, and given her a bill of divorce; yet her treacherous sister Yehudah feared not, but went and played the harlot also.
The only reason that He did not also divorce Yehudah was that He promised in B’reshith 48:10 that (The scepter shall not depart from Yehudah) and also a promise that was made to king David. There was no such promise made to the house of Yisrael. The only promise made was to the fathers Avraham, Yitzchak and Yaakov that he would bring them back to the land from captivity. That was the promise. So what you have here is a banishment of the house of Yisrael and a disbursement of the house of Yehudah which matches with
Yeshayahu 11:12 (Isaiah)
When the house of Yisrael was banished they came under the rule of foreign masters, and the following alludes to that.
Read Galatians 4:1-6 and match it up with and Eikhah (Lamentations) 5:1-4 & 8 for context
Galatians 41 Now I say, [That] the heir, as long as he is a child, differeth nothing from a servant, though he be master of all;
In D’varim 28:13 (Deuteronomy) it says “And YHWH shall make thee the head, and not the tail; and thou shalt be above only, and thou shalt not be beneath; if that thou hearken unto the commandments of the YHWH thy Elohim, which I command thee this day, to observe and to do [them]: D’varim 28:44 But they did not do them and were carried away to far lands and became servants of the host cultures, no longer the head but instead the tail.
2 #9; But is under tutors and governors until the time appointed of the father. They were in bondage until the process of restoration began on the day of Shavout (Pentecost).
(See verse 4 below : Referring to the fullness of time.)
3 #9; Even so we, when we were children, were in bondage under the elements of the world:
Before we knew Yeshua (Jesus) we were children of the world, not born again
4 But when the fullness of the time was come, Elohim sent forth his Son, made of a woman, made under the law,
Yeshua was born in captivity under Roman rule (law) as was the shadow Moshe (under law in Mitzrayim)
5. To redeem them that were under the law (in captivity and the law of the host cultures), that we might receive the adoption of sons.
6 And because ye are sons, Elohim hath sent forth the Ruach (Spirit) of his Son into your hearts, crying, Abba, Father.
Eikhah 5 (Lamentations) REMEMBER to match this up with Galatians 4:1-6 that you just read.
1 Remember, O YHWH, what is come upon us: consider, and behold our reproach
2 Our inheritance is turned to strangers, our houses to aliens. No longer the head but the tail
D’varim 28:44 He shall lend to thee, and thou shalt not lend to him: he shall be the head, and thou shalt be the tail.
3 We are orphans and fatherless, our mothers [are] as widows. She (house of Yisrael their mother) was divorced ,they were without a daddy. Yochanan14:18(John) "I will not leave you as orphans; I will come to you.) " 9; I will not leave you as orphans; means that they were orphans.
4 We have drunken our water for money; our wood is sold unto us.
8 Servants have ruled over us: [there is] none that doth deliver [us] out of their hand.
The following is the calling of Hoshea to exemplify what the relationship between YHWH and Yisrael had come to, and mirrored through his marriage to a harlot.
Hoshea 1
6 And she conceived again, and bare a daughter. And [Elohim] said unto him, Call her name Loruhamah: for I will no more have mercy upon the house of Yisrael; but I will utterly take them away.
7 But I will have mercy upon the house of Yehudah, and will save them by YHWH their Elohim, and will not save them by bow, nor by sword, nor by battle, by horses, nor by horsemen.
8 Now when she had weaned Loruhamah, she conceived, and bare a son.
9 Then said [Elohim], Call his name Loammi: for ye [are] not my people, and I will not be your [Elohim].
2:2 Plead with your mother, plead: for she [is] not my wife, neither [am] I her husband: let her therefore put away her whoredoms out of her sight, and her adulteries from between her breasts;
2:3 Lest I strip her naked, and set her as in the day that she was born, (This is a picture of what was written earlier
of Yechezk’el 16:6 (Ezekial) and make her as a wilderness, and set her like a dry land, and slay her with thirst. (See Yochanan 4:15 below) (John)
Yochanan 4(John) #9; #9;
13 Yeshua answered and said unto her, Whosoever drinketh of this water shall thirst again:
14 But whosoever drinketh of the water that I shall give him shall never thirst; but the water that I shall give him shall be in him a well of waters springing up into everlasting life.
. So what did the woman say in response to that ? ……….The woman *said to Him,
15 "Sir, give me this water, so I will not be thirsty nor come all the way here to draw." See Hoshea 2:3 above
This woman was slain with thirst ---these Samaratins were those called the Schemites and were of Yisraelite descent. This is going to be a prophetic statement we will see more about in Yochanan 4 (John)
Yeshayahu 54:1 (Isaiah)
"Shout for joy, O barren one, you who have borne no {child;} Break forth into joyful shouting and cry aloud, you who have not travailed; For the sons of the desolate one (house of Yisrael){will be} more numerous (remember Ephraim --doubly fruitful or fullness of the nations) than the sons of the married woman, (house of Yehudah)" says YHWH..
Shaul is going to speak about this in Gal 4:27 For it is written: "Rejoice, O barren, You who do not bear! Break forth and shout, You who are not in labor! For the desolate (house of Yisrael) has many more children than she (house of Yehudah) who has a husband." WHY IS THIS ?? Because Yehudah is in slavery with her children. The house of Yisrael is the barren woman and she is bringing forth all of these children while Yehudah is producing slaves, bound to their own good works..
POINT 3
The divorced wife (house of Yisrael) grieves for her previous husband) YHWH, and she desperately wants to come back to Him.
Hoshea 2
7. And she (house of Yisrael) shall follow after her lovers, but she shall not overtake them; and she shall seek them, but shall not find [them]: then shall she say, I will go and return to my first husband; (YHWH) for then [was it] better with me than now.
8. For she did not know that I gave her corn, and wine, and oil, and multiplied her silver and gold, [which] they prepared for Baal (The other Husband)
We read in:
Yochanan 4 (John)
16 Yeshua saith unto her, Go, call thy husband, and come hither.
17 The woman answered and said, I have no husband. Yeshua said unto her, Thou hast well said, I have no husband:
18 For thou hast had five husbands; and he whom thou now hast is not thy husband: in that saidst thou truly. One violation for each book of the Torah
This is a proof from the Brit Chadashah (new Testament) that the woman at the well was divorced, and she was messing around with her lover, she did not have a husband, she lost her marriage contract, and she has already been married many, many times before. This woman is representative of the scattered house of Yisrael.
POINT 4 A marriage engagement and a renewed contract is anticipated for the house of Yisrael !
Hoshea 2
16 And it shall be at that day, saith YHWH, [that] thou shalt call me Ishi; (My Husband) and shalt call me no more Baali. (My master)
17 For I will take away the names of Baalim (the masters or husbands) out of her mouth, and they shall no more be remembered by their name. (This means you will not be using the language of the heathen such as saying Sunday, Monday ,January, February etc…). You will be speaking Hebrew Tz’fanyah3:9 (Zephaniah)
18 And in that day will I make a covenant for them with the beasts of the field, and with the fowls of heaven, and [with] the **creeping things of the ground **and I will break the bow and the sword and the battle out of the earth, and will make them to lie down safely
** Beasts of the field, and with the fouls of heaven and with the creeping things of the ground**
Who is YHWH going to make a contract with ? It says with the ‘Beasts of the field, and with the fouls of heaven and with the **creeping things of the ground**
In Ancient Hebrew thought, an Yisraelite is called a man, (Adam). A gentile (Gowy in Hebrew) ) is called a creeping thing, a bird, and a beast. It is not right that they should think this way, but that was their way of thinking. It is ancient Hebraic rabbinic thought. Of course we know that YHWH is not a respecter of persons. He looks at the heart and He sees the heart characteristics of a person and defines the person based on the nature of his heart. This has nothing to do with race or color, it is merely a heart nature. This is why Kefa’s ( Peter’s) vision in Acts 10 contains these same words. That which is in the sheet of Kefa’s vision is the house of Yisrael. That is why Kefa says in Acts 10:28, YHWH has told me not to call any man unholy or unclean because man (the house of Yisrael) is getting restored from what they once were.
19 And I will betroth thee unto me for ever; yea, I will betroth thee unto me in righteousness, and in judgment, and in loving kindness, and in mercies.
20 I will even betroth thee unto me in faithfulness: and thou shalt know (this is a word of intimacy as in Adam & Eve A marriage) YHWH.
There are two major stages to a Hebrew marriage, the betrothal period or engagement, and the home taking . When Israel, at Mt Sinai received the marriage contract they were in the betrothal period, they were supposed to go into the Fathers house,( promised land) and stay there for home taking, but they were disobedient and did not go in until 40 years later. We also are in the betrothal stage, we have not yet arrived in the promised land, the consummation of salvation has not yet occurred, and still a future event.
Remember! It is by grace though faith that we receive salvation, and onto good works (His commandments) that YHWH has prepared for us in advance that we should walk in them.
In order to redeem Yisrael, YHWH is going to go back to the betrothal stage with His bride.. YHWH is starting over again at square one, meaning there is something that is brand new here. She (house of Yisrael) is divorced and He (YHWH) is going to bring her back and start with the betrothal period all over again, and that is what the following is saying. This is a reminder that Ephraim (scattered tribe of the house of Yisrael) is going to come back.
Hoshea 2:1
Say ye unto your brethren, Ammi; (my People) and to your sisters, Ruhamah. (Mercy) . Remember where it said no mercy and you are not my people. Now there is a change. She is going to come back to her Husband.
Yeshayahu 62 (Isaiah)3 Thou shalt also be a crown of glory in the hand of YHWH, and a royal diadem in the hand of thy Elohim,
4 Thou shalt no more be termed Forsaken; neither shall thy land any more be termed Desolate: but thou shalt be called Hephzibah, (my delight is in her) and thy land Beulah (married): for YHWH delighteth in thee, and thy land shall be married.
5 For [as] a young man marrieth a virgin, [so] shall thy sons marry thee: and [as] the bridegroom rejoiceth over the bride, [so] shall thy Elohim rejoice over thee.
They are coming back ! They are going to get remarried.. They, the house of Israel have a new marriage to look forward to because they were divorced and are now being restored !
Yirmayahu 31 (Jeremiah)
33 But this [shall be] the covenant that I will make with the house of Yisrael; After those days, saith YHWH, I will put my law in their inward parts, and write it in their hearts; and will be their Elohim and they shall be my people.
34 And they shall teach no more every man his neighbor, and every man his brother, saying, know YHWH for they shall all know me, from the least of them unto the greatest of them, saith YHWH for I will forgive their iniquity, and I will remember their sin no more.
POINT 5 The divine conundrum---which means an unsolvable mess..
D’varim 24
1 When a man hath taken a wife, and married her, and it come to pass that she find no favour in his eyes, because he hath found some uncleanness in her: then let him write her a bill of divorcement, and give [it] in her hand, and send her out of his house.
2 And when she is departed out of his house, she may go and be another man's [wife].
3. And [if] the latter husband hate her, and write her a bill of divorcement, and giveth [it] in her hand, and sendeth her out of his house; or if the latter husband die, which took her [to be] his wife;
4. Her former husband, which sent her away, may not take her again to be his wife, after that she is defiled (made spritually impure); for that [is] abomination (an idolatrous practice) before the YHWH: and thou shalt not cause the land to sin, which YHWH thy Elohim giveth thee [for] an inheritance.
YHWH made a promise to Avraham, Yitzchak & Yaakov. He promised them two things. That all the twelve tribes would be scattered all throughout the nations, to all four corners of the globe, and that all twelve tribes would come back to the land and that they would become one house according to the prophesy of Yechezk’el 37.(Ezekial) But, here is the problem. The house of Yisrael has been divorced and married to another man. She has already been married, and YHWH wants to bring her back to the land, she can’t be ritually impure, and He can’t defile the land because that is exactly what He can not do. This would be in disagreement with His Torah, but something has to be done to fulfill the promises to Avraham, Yitzchak and Yaakov . She wants to come back and she can’t because she has been divorced and she can’t get back. Her sister the house of Yehudah does not have this problem, she has not been divorced, although she has committed adultery. This is the unsolvable mess. WHAT IS YHWH GOING TO DO?
The following is going to take some understanding based on what you have already read. Lets make an example of married couple Fred and Wilma. Fred sees something unclean in Wilma so Fred hands Wilma a certificate of divorce, Wilma goes and becomes the wife of Martin. After a time Martin puts her out and says I do not want to deal with her anymore and divorces her. Fred is sitting over on the sideline and says, “Wilma I would like to take you back! Wilma says SURE I would love to come back,” but Fred being the man of YHWH that he is says, “I can’t take you back, I want to, I really do, but I can’t because you have already been married Wilma“. Wilma sits there and cries and says, “but I would like to come back, I want to come back !“ Now …. the only way possible for him to take her back is if he dies, but if he dies what is the point of her going back to a dead husband ? The only way would be if he resurrects and comes back to life, reborn as a new man. She, the divorced one, (house of Yisrael) needs to have a heart change and the one who is still married (house of Yehudah) will also need a heart change to be reunited with YHWH and with one another. That is the only way possible. The story of the prodigal son is a great picture of this. (Luke 15:11-32)
Now you may have a better understanding of what the Gospel is all about. Shaul (Paul) had an understanding of this revelation. Messiah came as the agent (who is Yeshua) of the principal (who is YHWH) to restore Yisrael (who is house of Yisrael, the scattered seed) to the marriage contract after she had been divorced. Yisrael could not get back unless it was through the death and resurrection of the husband, creating a new man so that, that relationship could be restored, and YHWH also covers Yehudah’s adultress sins by the same act that they both could be back together again in the land and become one . ALL WHO BELIEVE IN YESHUA AND TRULY LOVE HIM IS YISRAEL! ***********THIS IS THE GOSPEL ! *************
SOME ONGOING PROBLEMS SHAUL HAD TO DEAL WITH
THE SERIOUSNESS OF IVRIM Chapters 6 & 10 (Hebrews)
After you know this and you leave it and go back into Pesha (willful, malicious, rebellious sin) denying everything that you once believed it is impossible to renew you to repentance. WHY? Because YHWH is not going to come down and do it again, so there is no way to get back because the bridge has been burned. To have Him do it again is to trample underfoot the Son of YHWH, and you call the blood of the covenant unclean. You get one chance, He only did it once and that was enough. Ivrim 10:28 (Hebrews) He that despised Moses' law died without mercy under two or three witnesses:
WARNING….
Stay in the fold , keep your nose clean and follow the Torah and keep your heart pure before Him. Do not test Him. THAT IS THE BLASPHEMY OF THE RUACH HAKODESH (Holy Spirit) because the Ruach HaKodesh according to Yechezk’l 36:27 (Ezekial) tells you to keep the Torah, this is what the Ruach Ha Kodesh is for. To keep His statutes, His judgments and do them, if you spurn them, then you are blaspheming the Ruach, (Holy Spirit) and the Ruach is in the feminine gender, “That is Mother, I repeat Mother” and you were born (born again) from Mother.
In the book of Galatians Paul was in a battle to combat the vicious heresy in which the work of Yeshua was considered insufficient for salvation….. Before we get into Galatians I would like to acquaint you with several word definitions. They are as follows…….
CHURCH
The church is an assembly of Torah committed members that we call B’nai Yisrael, all Yisrael, the true church. The word church in Hebrew is ADAT or in Aramaic ADATA or in Greek EKKLESIA, all meaning an assembly of Yisraelites, or called out ones. The church started, not at Shavout (Pentecost) but in B’reshith 28:3 and most prominently remembered to be in in the wilderness referred to in D’varim 4:10, and by Stephen in Acts 7:38
GALATIA
The term Galatia means Israelite gentiles filling up the fullness of the goyim (nations Gentiles). Galatia is from the word Galut The word galut means, the exiled, the deported ones of the house of Yisrael.
STRANGERS OR ALIENS
In Hebrew (nokriy) implies those apart from the Torah,
GOSPEL
The gospel is mercy to the banished ones, the house of Yisrael. Through the death and resurrection of the name YHWH, the husband, which then purifies the soul of Yisrael, removes their judgment as an adultress, restores them back to the honor of a bride and grants them an inheritance with their brother Yehudah in the promised land of Yisrael. For the dispersed ones called the house of Yehudah the judgment of death for adultery is taken on resulting in their atonement. This whole idea of the disbursement and banishment is in Yeshayahu 11:12. This concept was so much understood by Yeshua that included in Mt 13:11-17, it was He, the blessed master who spoke to His talmidin (disciples) and said, “blessed are your eyes because they see, and your ears because they hear, for truly I say to you that many prophets and righteous men desired to see what you see and did not see and hear what you hear and did not hear,” THEY WERE LOOKING FORWARD TO THE COMING OF MESSIAH BEN YOSEPH (The Suffering Servant) to deliver the house of Yisrael back to the contract they had been banished from.
Galatians 1
8 But though we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel unto you than that which we have preached unto you, let him be accursed
9 As we said before, so say I now again, If any [man] preach any other gospel unto you than that ye have received, let him be accursed.
When Shaul is preaching about any other gospel (good news) is when someone minimizes or nullifies the undeserved mercy that YHWH is pouring out to the gentiles by requiring them to come to obedience to local customs, and laws, and in this case immediate circumcision with limited Torah knowledge.
The book of Galatians is about a system of ranking the circumcised Yehudim as a first class community of Yisrael, and the gentile lost sheep of Yisrael being put under their control, relegating them to becoming members of a second class community. This is what is really going on in Galatians. It is a difficulty between the Yehudim judaizers of Yarushalayim and the Ephraimites (house of Yisrael) who were coming into the faith in great numbers and believing that Yeshua was the Messiah who came to deliver the lost sheep of the house of Yisrael and bring them back to contract. The Brit Chadashah (N.T.) is a renewal of the Mosaic contract with Yisrael the adultress.
Prior to Yeshua’s finished work we gentiles were foreigners to the covenant promises of YHWH and without hope in this life and with no ability to know YHWH’s presence in this world. Because of Yisrael’s disobedience and their scattering it proved fortunate for all those who were not under the covenant, (THAT’S US !) that by the scattering of Yisrael and their inter association with the gentiles over thousands of years. We now are to be included in the restoration of YHWH. It is by His Spirit that this gathering of The Lost Sheep Of Yisrael will be done. We will be grafted into Yisrael as indicated in Yechezk’el 37:15 128 (Ezekiel) and in Romans 11: 24 -26. Romans also tells us of the great day, “ when the fullness of the gentiles has come in and so all Yisrael will be saved.” . Romans 9:6b says, “For they are not all Yisrael, which are of Yisrael.
