AND THE MINISTRY AND WORKS OF THE HOLY SPIRIT

To fully understand the ministry and the works of the Holy Spirit we must start at the beginning. In this study we are going to try to show how Yahweh’s (YHVH - the LORD’S) Spirit moved in and upon men throughout history which includes the Tenach (OT) and the Brit Chadashah (NT). It is also imperative you understand that the way many have been taught about the Trinity is skewed, and that error “cascades” down to erroneous thinking and unscriptural theological conclusions. PLEASE STAY WITH US ! Do we believe that Yahweh the Father is God? YES ! Do we believe that Yahshua (Jesus) the Son is God ? YES ! Do we believe that The Ruach ha Qodesh (Holy Spirit) is God? YES ! Do we believe they are three separate persons ? NO !

Now, keep in mind that Yahweh the Father is God, Yahshua the Son is Yahweh manifested in the flesh and is God and the Holy Spirit is Yahweh. They are all one and the same. The most confusing factor of this whole matter is The Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit is the wind, breath, power etc of Yahweh, and when you see some action of Yahweh taking place it is Yahweh moving and acting in some way by His Spirit. Remember what Yahshua said in Acts 1:8, “But you shall receive power when the Holy Spirit (Yahweh‘s manifested presence) has come upon you.” So, when something is happening (that Yahweh is moving in), Yahweh is present and we attribute the happening to an action of the Spirit of Yahweh. Please review the following word studies closely that you may properly understand “whom” the Holy Spirit is but also what it is.

The conclusion of all of this is that when something is happening, the parting of the Red Sea, the still small voice, tongues of fire, miracles etc., you are witnessing an action of Yahweh‘s Spirit, therefore the action itself is not Yahweh but the action can not happen without the presence of Yahweh‘s Spirit..

Yahweh throughout scripture has pointed to the latter days, to the outpouring of His Spirit upon ALL flesh. The Day of Pentecost was an appointed time (moed) for a corporate outpouring of His Spirit, which Yahweh knew from beginning He would have to do in order to restore His Kingdom. This was the prophesy of the “Great Day of The Scattered Seed” of (Hosea 1:1-11) This was the way Yahweh chose to bring the gentiles into the covenant promises of which they were previously excluded and without hope. Contrary to N.T. teaching the Holy Spirit has always indwelled believers individually from the days of Adam as well as performing all kinds of acts by His Set Apart Power. Yahweh’s works are visible throughout scripture and are too numerous to mention. Please search them out for yourselves. Yahweh’s Spirit indwelled believers, any believers, no matter who they were as long as they carried the seed of Abraham, which is FAITH! The works and the ministry of The Holy Spirit (Yahweh) have not changed. It has always been Yahweh’s ministry to reveal Himself to men’s hearts as the one, the only true Creator, Ruler of The Universe by the working of His Set-Apart-Spirit. His plan has been hidden in plain sight in the scriptures for all of us to see.

The ministry and the works of The Holy Spirit has not changed through all of history. Keep in mind that The Holy Spirit IS Yahweh‘s manifested presence. He says in Mal 3:6 “ I do not change”, He is the same yesterday, today and forever. In the Tenach (O.T.) Yahweh dwelled among His people. The people who carry the Seed of Abraham (FAITH in Yahweh for salvation) are those who will eventually become Israel.

Gen 1:2 In the account of creation we see Yahweh’s Holy Spirit hovering over the face of the waters. Then Yahweh spoke things into existence by His -Set Apart Power- who we call the Holy Spirit. Gen 3 Then came the fall of man. Gen 3:15 After the fall, Yahweh said to the serpent…”I will put enmity between you and the woman, and between your seed > (word of satan, The tree of the knowledge of good & evil (right & wrong) and her Seed > (Word of Yahweh--The Tree of Life).” This Seed progresses through time and is personified in Yahshua (Jesus) Messiah. The Seed of woman is the Seed that “indwells“ all those who come to Yahweh through faith in Yahshua. It is Yahweh’s Seed. We call these people believers and these and only these are included in the Body Of Messiah and True Israel. These are “WHO ISRAEL IS.” This is a “spiritual” issue, as in the natural, “woman” has NO SEED…in the natural, “seed” for mankind comes from the MALE. The “her Seed’ is Messiah’s likeness (Holy Spirit empowered “Word” manifested in the believer), that wasYahweh’s prophesied (proclaimed) plan FROM THE BEGINNING! It is the “bud” from which the “flower” came forth, so to speak. It has always been Yahweh’s way and ONLY way, and to teach any other doctrine is to profane the Scriptures.

In Gen:3-21 Yahweh provides a covering for Adam and Eve with an animal skin that was a sacrificial offering (the first blood shed because of sin). Here we see Yahweh beginning to lay the groundwork for man’s restoration, for them to be reunited once again with Him through faith. It had to be by faith. That is why He had the Cherubim guard the Tree of Life (Torah) because if Adam or Eve had eaten of it they would have lived eternally in a fallen state. The only way they could come back to Yahweh was by faith in the forthcoming Yahshua. Any other way leads to DEATH.

The people of Yahweh are called the 'seed of Avraham'.The seed was to come through Yitz'chak (Isaac) and eventually through Ya'akov (Jacob). Ya'akov had twelve sons that were collectively called the children of Israel. According to Sh'mot (Exodus) 4:22, these “children of Israel” are personified as one man called 'my firstborn son.' The Elohim (God) of Israel, from the beginning, has only had ONE son. The earthly representation of this son, Israel, disobeyed (sinned) and was divided into two 'sons' (Ephraim and Judah) or kingdoms, the Northern kingdom made up of ten tribes and the Southern kingdom, made up of Judah, Benjamin and a good portion of Levites. These two kingdoms, called the house of Israel and the house of Yehudah (Judah) had two distinct prophecies told of them according to Hoshea.

The Family of Hosea.

2. When the Lord began to speak by Hosea, the Lord said to Hosea: "Go, take yourself a wife of harlotry And children

of harlotry, For the land has committed great harlotry By departing from the Lord."

3. So he went and took Gomer the daughter of Diblaim, and she conceived and bore him a son.

4. Then the Lord said to him: "Call his name Jezreel, (Which means scattered seed) For in a little while I will avenge the

bloodshed of Jezreel on the house of Jehu, And bring an end to the kingdom of the house of Israel.

5. It shall come to pass in that day That I will break the bow of Israel in the Valley of Jezreel."

6. And she conceived again and bore a daughter. Then God said to him: "Call her name *Lo-Ruhamah,

For I will(no longer have mercy on the house of Israel,) *But I will utterly take them away.

7. Yet I will have mercy on the house of Judah, Will save them by the Lord their God, And will not save them by bow,

Nor by sword or battle, By horses or horsemen."

8. Now when she had weaned Lo-Ruhamah, she conceived and bore a son.

9 .Then God said: "Call his name *Lo-Ammi,( For you are not My people, And I will not be your God.)

The Restoration of Israel

10. "Yet the number of the children of Israel Shall be as the sand of the sea, Which cannot be measured or numbered.

And it shall come to pass In the place where it was said to them, “You are *not My people,” There it shall be said to them, 'You are sons of the living God.'

11. Then the children of Judah and the children of Israel Shall be gathered together, And appoint for themselves one head; And they shall come up out of the land, For great will be the day of Jezreel! (For great will be the day of the scattered seed)

This is who is being referred to in Romans 9:25. It is the scattered tribes of Israel, (Ephraim) The Northern Kingdom. It is not “THE CHURCH”Other references Jer 16:14-21, Jer 23:1-8, Math 10:6 & 15:24. Keep looking, other references occur throughout Scripture. Even the Parable of the Lost (prodigal) Son Lk :15:11-32 is a picture of Ephraim and Judah reuniting…and Yahweh rejoicing and celebrating their being “one family” again.

The kingdom of the house of Israel would dissolve (Yahweh’s doing because of their sin) and be scattered throughout the nations (Gentiles). They would no longer be the people of Yahweh and He would no longer have mercy on them. 1Kgs 12:25-34. The beginning of the end was when Jereboam set up two calves of gold for the people to worship as the Elohim that took them out of Egypt. He also changed the times and days of the feasts to that which he had devised in his own heart (the lesson of the worship of the golden calves is about man worshipping Yahweh man’s way and not His way). In 2Kgs 17:1-23 which is sometime later, the House of Israel is carried captive to Assyria and eventually scattered among the nations.

Prior to Yahshua’s finished work we gentiles were foreigners to the covenant promises of Yahweh and without hope in this life and with no ability to know Yahweh‘s presence in this world. Because of Israel’s disobedience and their scattering it proved fortunate for all those who were not under the covenant, (THAT’S US !) that by the scattering of Israel and their inter association with the gentiles over thousands of years. We now are to be included in the restoration of Yahweh. It is by His Spirit that this gathering of The Lost Sheep Of Israel will be done. We will be grafted into Israel as indicated in Ezek: 37:15-28 and in Romans 11: 24 -26. Romans also tells us of the great day, “ when the fullness of the gentiles has come in and so all Israel will be saved.”

Hoshea also says that the kingdom of Yehudah would also disobey, but that nation would remain intact, and Yahweh would have mercy on them. But YHVH, by virtue of His omniscience, knew that one day these two houses would be reunited and would once again be His people, with one shepherd, one head, and would be renewed again as ONE man, Israel, His firstborn. There was however, a mystery, that both houses were blinded of, that is now revealed to the holy apostles and prophets. The 'mystery' of the Messiah is WHO the house of Israel is. Sha'ul (Paul) reveals this mystery in the chapter following the removal of the middle wall.The house of Israel comes (is to be “called out”) from among the Gentiles. The very people that Yahweh prophesied the house of Israel would be scattered and mixed among *** ***Ephesians 2:15-18 Having abolished in his flesh the enmity, [even] the law of commandments [contained] in ordinances ... "

Yahweh is looking toward a future exodus of His “called out ones” to come out of this world, especially to come out of “Torahless” religious systems that profane His NAME and disregard His commandments. His people from across the entire earth, that will return to Him and His ways, will be with Him in Jerusalem, and eventually in His eternal house. This time it will be done right, as Yahweh has been preparing His people for a long, long time to get back to their roots, His holy word (Torah). The same instructions originally given but disobeyed will be given once again but they will be written on our hearts. We will indeed hear what His word says and we will indeed obey it. Psalm 78 deals with what happened to the people in the wilderness and is also prophetic of then future events

Read all of Chapter 17----------The following is a synopsis

I have manifested thy NAME unto the men whom thou gavest me out of the world; thine they were, and thou gavest them to me, and they have KEPT THY WORD ... Holy Father, keep through thine own NAME those whom thou has given me, that they may be ONE as we are ... I kept them in thy name; those that thou gavest me I have kept, and none of them was LOST ... Neither pray I for these alone, but for them also who shall believe on me through their word; That they all MAY BE ONE ... And the glory which thou gavest me I have given them, that they MAY BE ONE ... I in them, and thou in me, that they may be made PERFECT IN ONE ... " He is talking about the coming together of the Two Houses

Of Judah and Israel (Ephraim). Yahshua said, Mat 15:2 “… I am not sent but unto the lost sheep of the house of Israel.” Everything from Genesis to Revelation is about ONE PEOPLE and ONE PLAN…THIS IS THE CORPORATE INGATHERING OF ALL OF YAHWEH’S PEOPLE IN THE LATTER DAYS DONE BY THE MOVE OF THE HOLY SPIRIT (YAHWEH) AND HIS POURING OUT ON ALL FLESH.

"Moreover, thou son of man, take thee one stick, and write upon it, For Judah, and for the children of Israel, his companions; then take another stick, and write upon it, For Joseph, the stick of Ephraim, and from all the house of Israel, his companions; And JOIN them one to another into ONE STICK, and they shall become ONE in thine hand ... Behold I will take the stick of Joseph, which is in the hand of Ephraim, and the tribes of Israel, his fellows, and will put them with him, even with the stick of Judah, and make them ONE stick, and they shall be ONE in mine hand ... And I will make them ONE nation ... And they shall be no more two nations, neither shall they be divided ... And they shall all have ONE shepherd."

It is important to keep in mind that the wall that divides is written in Torah. According to the commandments and ordinances, if you sin then you are separated from Yahweh. There are penalties in Torah for sin and disobedience. There are NO penalties for keeping Torah, only for disobeying Torah. It is absurd to conclude that Torah itself has been abolished, but rather the ultimate penalty for breaking Torah which is DEATH!

Remember that both houses were dispersed because of sin, and so it is that both houses will be restored by trusting and following the Messiah, the restorer of the breach. "... to make in himself of two one new man, [so] making peace."

Very simply put, the middle wall of partition that has been abolished is the very thing that always divides: sin, disobedience, and the penalty of death; that which has always divided the sheep and caused separation between Yahweh and His people. Sha'ul finishes this verse by revealing again that this reunion has made shalom or completeness of that which has been broken and scattered.
