What is Sin?

Welcome to Scattered Seed Ministries Website...

We invite you to experience a most wonderful journey into the Holy Scriptures and let them inspire your thinking and fill your heart with hope and confidence that YOU are a very special "creation" of God and that He cares very much about your well being and eternal life... there is NO middle ground; you will be either "saved" and named among the "redeemed" who will spend eternal life in God's kingdom, or you will be eternally separated from God and the Bible says unbelievers who refuse to come to salvation in Yeshua (Jesus) will be condemned to the lake of fire (which Yeshua said was prepared for the devil and his angels Mat 25:41). It is the purpose of our Ministry to "...gather the scattered sheep of Yeshua's Kingdom," as noted in our Website name above, and lead the lost and weary sheep (Yeshua's loved ones) to the real Saviour of the Bible, Yeshua (Jesus); and help you find Bible truth about your life's most important objective.

First, you may have noticed our Website Logo that includes the name's "Ephraim," "Judah," and "WhoSoEver Will." The people of the Bible are a very specific people... The distinctions applied to them in the Bible (by God) is for a very important reason; and that is to help you understand the specifics of "who," "what," "when," and "where." TorahScroll

We encourage you to make it a priority in your study to understand the relationships of these people to one another and to the "people of the nations," and to the Prophetic events; because of this, we will need to define a few terms... see link to "Definitions page below."

Most people (especially if they do not have deeply inquisitive interest in the details) will likely read the Bible in a random fashion and the typical experience is to simply "read past, or over" the things we are not able to connect to the context and the themes that are woven like fine linen throughout the Scriptures. However, God has promised us that He would write the "New Covenant" upon our hearts and in our minds... (Jer 31:31-33; Heb 8:8-13). And, that Yeshua (Jesus) would be the "mediator" of that New Covenant... (Heb 12:24). You may want to read: Why We Study Torah...

What does it mean to "Love one another?"

“And He will lift up a standard for the nations and assemble the banished
ones of Israel, and will gather the dispersed of Judah from the four corners of
the earth. Then the jealousy of Ephraim will depart, and those who harass Judah
will be cut off; Ephraim will not be jealous of Judah, and Judah will not harass
Ephraim” (Isaiah 11:12-13).

Why are Judah and Ephraim contentious with one another? Are they not the representation of the Whole House of Israel... brothers in the covenants, sons of Abraham?

When the "prodigal" son returned after squandering the Father's wealth in indulgent living away from the family... and upon his return, the forgiving Father celebrated his return from the "dead" back to the "living," why was the faithful son who remained in service to the Father so upset... was he not glad for his brother's restoration? (Luk 15:11-32)

Why do so many of God's children today act jealous and contentious with one another? Why do so many who claim to be followers of Christ Jesus (Yeshua) slander each other and hinder the unity of the faith that God desires for all Believers? Does saying we "believe" count if we do not "love one another?" What did Yeshua say?

34 A new commandment I give unto you, That ye love one another; as I have loved you, that ye also love one another. 35 By this shall all men know that ye are my disciples, if ye have love one to another. John 13:34-35 KJV

As we near the end of days, we are told the "love of many will wax cold." (Mat 24:10-15) This is a very important issue... as Yeshua said the second greatest Commandment is, "you shall love our neighbor as you love yourself." (Mat 22:36-40). Yeshua was quoting the Torah: (Deut 6:5, 10:12, 30:6; Lev 19:18) Loving "God/YHVH" is the first commandment.

God is about the "restoration of all things." There is a powerful spirit of deception in the earth today that is trying to separate the sons of God from obeying the Word of God and doing the things God has commanded us to do... And, in the midst of the "falling away" of so many who do not consider the Torah Commandments applicable to their "belief system," there are others who truly are coming out of the new age churches and seeking the Hebraic roots of their Faith and finding the treasures in the Torah... and they understand the "love" of the family of God as vital to their lifestyles. May we suggest you learn about the conflict in the church today; and who the sons of God are likely to be.

Who has the last Word in Time; and When is the end...?

sandHrglass_jpg

Do you believe that time is a "fixed" condition; and the the Creator God (YHVH) has ordained the times and seasons that have limits, and that specific events are appointed by His Divine plan? Or do you believe that time is simply a product of our existence in a evolutionary cycle of cosmic events that just happen? Or do you think the end of time to be the year 2012 or some other "date?"

God has informed us of the "Last Days," or the "end of time" as we now know it. One way He has revealed his plan is through the "Feasts of the Lord" (Lev Ch 23); and each of the "appointed times" (Moedim) relate to a specific Divine time frame. See these articles on the "Feasts," and "Apocalypse."

Who will God allow to enter the "New Jerusalem?"

And I saw a new heaven and a new earth: for the first heaven and the first earth were passed away; and there was no more sea. 2 And I John saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down from God out of heaven, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband. 3 And I heard a great voice out of heaven saying, Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and he will dwell with them, and they shall be his people, and God himself shall be with them, and be their God. Rev 21:1-3 KJV

newJerusalem And he said unto me, It is done. I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end. I will give unto him that is athirst of the fountain of the water of life freely. 7 He that overcometh shall inherit all things; and I will be his God, and he shall be my son. 8 But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death. Rev 21:6-8

12 And, behold, I come quickly; and my reward is with me, to give every man according as his work shall be. 13 I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end, the first and the last. 14 Blessed are they that do his commandments, that they may have right to the tree of life, and may enter in through the gates into the city.
